She said to them, 'Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel'......" 2 Kings 22:14
The Prophet Isaiah's wife was a prophetess. "I went to the prophetess, and she conceived, and bore a son. Then Yahweh said to me, "Call his name 'Maher Shalal Hash Baz.'" Isaiah 8:3
Believers in the New Testament scriptures can clearly see women performing in ministry roles: "There was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher (she was of a great age, having lived with a husband seven years from her virginity" Luke 2:36
Women worked along side the Apostle Paul:
"Yes, I beg you also, true partner, help these women, for they labored with me in the Good News [The Gospel], with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life." Philippians 4:3
"And I commend you to Phebe our sister -- being a ministrant of the assembly that is in Cenchrea" Romans 16:1
"Now this man had four virgin daughters who prophesied." Acts 21:9
